Dear
parents,
At
the end of the
school year last
year, your child
received information
about the upcoming
Washington DC trip
in November. The
dates of our trip
are November 2-6.
For the last several
years we have taken
the trip in May but
we have discovered
that taking the trip
in November allows
the students to see
and experience more
of Washington.
Unfortunately, a
trip date in
November means that
people who would
like to be placed on
some type of a
payment schedule had
to register before
school started in
August. Even though
the deadline for
registration was
August 15th,
we just learned that
Flat Rock’s
band will not be
taking a trip this
year and
consequently, we are
offering the trip up
for anyone who was
planning on going on
a band trip instead
of to Washington.
The
trip cost is $798.
This cost includes
transportation,
lodging, meals, tour
guides, any
admission fees,
nighttime security
and a t-shirt. We
usually stay at the
Marriott in
Alexandria which is
a very nice hotel.

website. On the
website we also have
detailed information
about the trip. If
you decide to go
ahead and sign up,
our trip number is
4880.
